Andrea Tamás main research topic is the investigation of PACAP in animal models and clinical conditions. During her 25 years of research, she has led numerous independent research projects and actively participates in and organizes conferences. She is actively involved in educating the next generation of scientists. In addition to her research work, she has been actively involved in teaching anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroanatomy in English and Hungarian for more than 25 years. She is the president of the Circle of Demonstrator Students and a member of the Undergraduate Research Committee at the University of Pécs Medical School.
