Many of us work in academic environments that are shaped by rapid societal change, growing workforce pressures, technological transformation, financial constraints, and rising expectations from the communities we serve. However, it is precisely these pressures that remind us of the enduring importance of our academic responsibilities in education, research, and patient care. Modern academic medicine is facing unprecedented challenges – from the rapidly changing geopolitical environment and technological breakthroughs to the growing burden on health systems. The first day of the AMSE conference will take place at Vilnius University Central Campus, located in the heart of Vilnius, Lithuania, with the programme held in the historic Aula Parva.
Founded in 1579, Vilnius University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Central and Eastern Europe. The Central Campus is situated in the historic Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering a unique blend of academic heritage and architectural beauty.

Medical Science Centre
The second and third days of the conference will take place at Vilnius University Medical Science Centre.
The Medical Science Centre is a modern, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to medical education and research. Located in the Santariškės district, it offers contemporary lecture halls, advanced infrastructure, and a professional academic environment well-suited for scientific sessions and discussions.
