Mirey Alfarah, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Medical Education at the Medical Faculty at the University of Bergen, Norway. Her research focuses on health professions education, with particular expertise in educational interventions, active learning, student-centred pedagogies, and the creation of inclusive learning environments. She is actively involved in international research and educational development projects exploring equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging, and professional identity formation in healthcare education. Drawing on an interdisciplinary background spanning public health, migration, and higher education, her work aims to enhance student learning, engagement, and wellbeing across diverse educational contexts.
