Pedro Barata, is a fifth-year medical student at the University of Porto and Vice-President for External Affairs of EMSA, representing more than 50,000 medical students across Europe. He engages with institutions including the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the European Parliament, advocating for student perspectives in health policy. His work focuses on health advocacy, medical education, public health, and youth engagement in policy-making.
