Sebastjan Bevc, MD, PhD, is an internist and clinical pharmacologist at the University Medical Centre Maribor and Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Maribor. He is the Head of the Department of Nephrology and holds the Chair in Pharmacology. His research focuses on internal medicine, nephrology, dialysis, pharmacology, and medical education, with over 120 PubMed-indexed publications. He is actively involved in international research, editorial work, mentoring, and academic leadership, holds leadership responsibilities at the Faculty of Medicine Maribor (vice-dean for educational activities), and serves in professional roles within the Slovenian Medical Chamber.
