Dr. Anna Karwowska is the Vice-President, Education for the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) where she provides national leadership in medical education. She has extensive experience in leadership, collaboration, and advocacy, along with deep knowledge of current successes and challenges in medical education and accreditation in Canada. She is Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics (DoP), Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa. As a clinician educator she has been involved in medical education throughout her career, serving in education leadership positions in the DoP as well as at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
